Paul & Mary BROWN (nee HULBERT) married in Wiltshire in 1828 and had 8 children. The family came to Hobson's Bay, Victoria in 1851 on board the 'Hooghley' with 6 of their children. As assisted passengers they started work with Mr. Charles BARRETT, a market gardener in Melbourne. Other names from the first generation include: BULL, WAUGH, FALLS, BAYLISS,PERRY, HARDING, ATKINS and NEWTON.
