Summary: Since the arrival of the first six Irish-born nuns in Coonamble in central west New South Wales in 1883, generations of Brigidine Sisters have set up schools and other ministries in Australia and New Zealand, and dealt with educational, social and religious challenges. There are many photographs, from 1900 to 2007, of the Sisters, pupils, schools and places of residence. These also spread as far as Queensland.
