Summary: Contains:
The village of Kemsing lies at the foothills of the North Downs, to the east of Otford. In the village is St Edith's Well. (Methuens Guide 1950)

Forward: .... The churchyard is ancient; a former shrine to St Edith (b.Kemsing AD 961) destroyed at the end of the 16th century. other items of interest.
On the transcibing of stones: an attempt in 1936 to list the graves and system used then for some sections;
An alphabetical / numerical system begun for Section L following.
GR = memorial tablet for interred ashes;
On difficulties and work still to be dine, eg sunken stones;
This covers known graves in the churchyard & burial ground;
Many were buried within the church but re-flooring of the church 1870-1890 has covered graves of those buried within the church.
