It follows on from the first volume, with the description of Charles (8th baronet) and hiis brothers as Westminster schoolboys, then continues through the lives of the 8th, 9th (also Bishop of Clogher), 10th, 11th (the first Baron Hotham) and 12th (the second Baron) Baronets. Other names and portraits include Dorothy Hobart, wife of the 8th baronet, and Henrietta their daughter, who never married.
