This book follows on from the "Pinky Purple Car and the Pinky Purple Hills" It is a yearly diary of my life from 1976-1990 (age 15-29). It follows the lives of my family, Dad, Mum, Mark, Anthony, Christopher and myself as we settle into life in Forbes after leaving the Territory. It is years of Living, Leaning, Loving and Loss; but always with a window open to reflect imagine, remember and appreciate. It was years of opening doors to opportunities and possibilities. Of doors not opened, choices made and paths not taken, and doors for what ever reason that closed. But the most important door was the door that was always open, the door to our home where Mum and Dad were.
