After regaining its independence in the nineteenth century, Serbia issued a remarkable set of medals that incorporate elements of Serbian history and that were manufactured by the leading medal workshops in Europe at the time. Includes description Serbian orders and medals from the 19th and early 20th century in a historical context and a chapter on Australian medical volunteers and soldiers awarded Serbian medals in WWI.
