The authors' intention was to show the progression of the Greeks in Canberra and surrounding districts from the status of migrants to that of equal and mature citizens, and to focus on the contribution they made not only towards the welfare of their own families and their immediate community, but also to Australian society. Districts included are : Queanbeyan, Gundagai, Goulburn, Batemans Bay, the Riverina, Wagga Wagga, Yass and the Alpine Region.
